LIC AAO Vacancy 2024
The number of vacancies for the position of Assistant Administrative Officer in the Life Insurance Corporation of India has not yet been officially disclosed, but it is expected to be around 400. LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to meet eligibility criteria to appear for the Exam. Eligibility criteria include Citizenship, age limit and educational qualification.
Educational Qualifications
For LIC AAO different posts there are different academic qualifications required.
- For AAO (Generalist): Diploma in any discipline
- For AAO (IT): Should hold a bachelor’s in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics, or own an MCA/MSc in Computer Science.
- For AAO (Chartered Accountant): A bachelor’s degree from an identified Indian university/institution is required. Furthermore, college students must have passed the ICA of India’s most recent examination and completed the Institute’s requirements. Students must be Associate Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and their club quantity can be verified.
- For AAO (Actuarial): Students need to have a bachelor’s diploma. Students have to have passed papers CT1 and CT5.
- For AAO (Rajbhasha): A bachelor’s diploma in Hindi/Hindi translation, a postgraduate master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects, or a postgraduate grasp’s degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects is required.
Age Limit for LIC AAO
Candidate who lie in General category must be between 21 to 30 years old.However ,upper age limit Other Backward Class, Scheduled Caste / Tribes is 30, 33 and 35 years, respectively.

Candidates who are eligible for LIC AAO Exam can apply through the official website after release of Exam Form . Here are the steps to apply online

- Then, click on the carrier to view the recruitment advertisement.
- Enter required information.
- You must now generate your registration number and password, which were sent to you via email.
- Now fill out the application form and upload your documents.
- Verify the information and pay the application fee.

General Candidates need to pay 700 rupees to fill the application form of AAO in LIC India, However for OBC,SC,ST candidates need to pay only 80 rupees.

Selection Process Consist of three stages : Prelims, Mains, Interview
Prelims
- Mode: Online (Computer-based test)

- Total Questions: 100
- Maximum Marks: 100
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
- Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.
- Sections:
- Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks
- English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks
- Medium: Questions are available in both English and Hindi.
Mains:
- Mode: Online (Computer-based test)
- Duration: 2 hours (Objective tests) + 30 minutes (Descriptive test)
- Total Questions: 120 (Objective tests)
- Maximum Marks: 300 (Objective tests) + 25 (Descriptive test)
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer in the objective tests carries marks as specified in the notification.
- Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer in the objective tests.
- Sections:

- General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 30 questions, 60 marks
